The flying islands of the night (1913)
Illustrations by Franklin Booth
A liquid music filtered through my dreams,
As though ‘twere myriads of sweet voices, pent
In some o’erhanging realm, had spilled themselves
In streams of melody that trickled through
The chinks and crannies of a crystal pave
I held my breath at the last one.
IT WAS COOL AND THEN IT GOT SCARY AS SHIT
I was thinking the whole time…
“This would be a really good ad campaign against guns.”
…welp. lol
